What is Counselling?
Counselling is an endeavour for change, personal development, and mental wellness through the relationship built between client and counsellor. Counsellors are trained in various approaches to guide you through healing and growth. The process can include exploring difficult emotions, understanding the roots of your concerns, learning coping strategies, and developing ways to work through challenges. Sessions can be held in many different settings, including in-person, outdoors, in groups, online, and on the phone.
What to Expect
Once you have made the decision to begin your counselling journey, you can book consultations with different counsellors to find a good fit. When you find a counsellor you are interested in working with, you can book your first appointment where you may be asked to provide information, such as your contact, mental health history, and other background information. Be You Counselling offers both in-person and virtual one-on-one sessions and collaborates with local organizations to provide group counselling.
